Boston, MA — John Malone, former Chief Executive Officer of Funding Fixed, has been appointed Chair of The Funding Academy and Head of Fundable Innovation, marking a strategic expansion into education and ecosystem development.

The Funding Academy will focus on defining and teaching what it means for a business to be fundable, bridging the gap between early stage ideas and real capital readiness.

Malone, who has helped founders structure financing and scale operations, will lead the initiative to establish standards that align businesses with the expectations of capital markets.

“Capital does not fund ideas, it funds readiness,” said John Malone. “The Funding Academy exists to make that real for founders. We are building a system that teaches, measures, and delivers fundability.”

“We are defining what fundable innovation actually means and building the path for founders to achieve it,” Malone added.

The Funding Academy builds on the operational and technical foundation of Funding Fixed, extending its impact through structured education, workshops, and hands on guidance for founders navigating growth and funding.
